Muscle relaxant, anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic. Contains methocarbamol (derived from guaifenesin carbamate), induces muscle relaxation without altering tone, is long-lasting, acts against muscle spasm. Flumethasone is an anti-inflammatory and antiallergic glucocorticoid, which together with methocarbamol, is the drug of choice for the treatment of problems of the musculoskeletal system. In equines it is indicated in the treatment of tetanus, hemoglobinuric myositis (Monday’s disease), in muscle trauma, bursitis, synovitis and fibrosis. In canines and felines in intervertebral disc syndrome, compressive myelitis, spinal cord injuries, post-surgical muscle spasms, myositis and bursitis.
